In 2005, the Royal Family granted Dan Coma with the title of “Supplier of the Royal Family”, rewarding in this way the high quality of his products and the good working relationship.

This honour was accomplished after Princess Margaret had decided to make His Royal Highness, King Michael I of Romania a special gift. Within a short time, the designer received a touching letter written and signed by the King, who thanked him for the gift whose masterful craftsmanship reminded him of the Royal Suppliers during the times of Queen Marie of Romania.

Being "Supplier of the Royal Family" means responsibility and prestige, to the same extent. To assure the standards’ safety, the title is renewed every four years. It represents an honour that motivates and creates a valuable reference point. Since 2005, the title has continuously been renewed.

In 2010, Dacoma receives a high distinction, the Cross of the Royal House of Romania, Patent no. 127, for the constant serving of the Royal fundamentals and for public support of the Royal Family of Romania.
